Launch event for “Rent Regulation Rights”

Launch event for "Rent Regulation Rights"

On Sunday, March 9th, 2014 over 15 CUP volunteers and members from CAAAV's Chinatown Tenants Union helped to distribute copies of our new Making Policy Public poster "Rent Regulation Rights" in Chinatown's Sara D. Roosevelt Park.

CUP collaborated with grassroots organization, CAAAV, and the designers IntraCollaborative to produce this Chinese and English poster helping tenants understand rent stabilization law and their rights under them. CAAAV is distributing the project to Chinese-speaking community members and other residents living in rent-regulated apartments in Lower Manhattan.
