PBJs and Project-Based Learning!

What does a PB&J sandwich have to do with project-based learning?

CUP’s 2019 Teaching Artist Fellows are diving deep into CUP’s methodology using project-based learning. They recently made step-by-step drawings of how to make a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich – an activity that can help students think about how to break down a complex process (and overcome fears of drawing!). CUP Teaching Artists use similar activities to process topics like how prisons are built or understanding food choices in public schools.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Teaching Artist Fellowship and learn more here!
