You're invited! Students premiere short film on police accountability

Since September, CUP has collaborated with Teaching Artist Marianna Olinger and students from the Red Hook Community Justice Center to investigate police accountability in New York City.

CUP sent students home with art supplies, including a home screen printing kit and digital cameras. Throughout the fall students conducted remote surveys with community members, interviewed stakeholders over Zoom, and used film and photography to investigate how policing impacts their neighborhoods.

We’re excited to premiere their short documentary film on Tuesday, January 12th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM over Zoom. The program will also include a presentation and Q&A session.
