Print Schools Are Us

In NYC getting involved in the process for making decisions about running your local public school is really complicated! There are many levels of decisionmakers, and at the top of it all sits the Mayor. How does it all work? How much power does the Mayor really have? And how can you get in on the process and make sure your voice is heard?

CUP collaborated with Teachers Unite and designer Silas Munro to create this fold-out poster that lays out all the different levels of decisionmakers who govern NYC’s schools.  People can use the poster to find out where they can participate in decisions about schools at every level – from local public schools up to the Mayor’s office.
